Garmin activity tracking algorithms do not weigh long-distance running enough?

Garmin activity tracking algorithms do not weigh long-distance running enough such that total activity gains little even from 25 km run (pace 5.2 min/km or so) as opposed to indoor exercise? I think there should be a coefficient of activity (wear out coeff.) that takes into account the length of an exercise as the load is not linear: there is a difference between 10, 15 and 25 km.
