Next Garmin HRM - Any rumours?

A friend of mine was about to buy the HRM-Run today, but was told that there is a new HRM strap coming up. Unkown when.

Does anybody know something about this? Is there rumoured to be a new HRM strap released soon? If so, anything about the specs and features?

Hi, sorry I'm not of much help, but I have not heard anything about a new Garmin HRM. The one linked below is the last Garmin Heart Rate monitor released, and I personally believe it is a better investment than the HRM-Run because its a little bit cheaper and I've heard that there have been some issues with premature wear on the HRM-Run as well as other issues.
