Forerunner 25 taking too long to connect to GPS

I have a forerunner 25 and I can't get it to connect to GPS system even when fully charged until I have been running for at leat 10 mins?!

I used to have the Garmin Forerunner 25 and the GPS took forever to acquire satellites. You might just be stuck with it.
