Can I connect a HRM tri to a forerunner 235?

Hi,

I want to buy a HRM tri but when I check the compatible devices I can’t find a forerunner 235( this is the watch I currently own). But I thought there was ANT+ on the forerunner! So my question is, is it possible to connect the HRM tri to the forerunner?

You can connect the HRM-Tri to the 235, but it will work just like a regular HR strap, providing live HR data. The post-activity download feature won't work with the 235, hence it's missing from the compatibility…
