I can't connect my Suunto Smart Sensor HRM with my Forerunner 920XT. Until recently I was using it with my Vivoactive 3, without any trouble at all. But I've switched to the Forerunner for day to day use because I want a watch that can do open water swimming, which the VA3 can't.
Wondering if anybody else has used this combo of watch and sensor, and whether I'm just doing something wrong in the process of pairing the two? I use an HTC android phone, and have managed to pair the phone and the HRM, but i don't use any Suunto apps, I only use Garmin Connect, Strava, and Training Peaks.
Is there a fix for this or is the issue that the HRM only uses Bluetooth, and the watch only pairs with phones over Bluetooth?
