My Garmin watch 920XT has files in .FIT format. How can I upload them to a workout log in TCX. format?

Are these activities saved on Garmin Connect? Or are you referring to the files on your device in the GARMIN folder? From https://connect.garmin.com/modern/ you can export to TCX. 

These files are from my watch 920XT which is plugged into my desktop computer

The garmin folder is on my desktop pc

I don't know much about GearedUp. Have you tried using the "export to TCX" as mentioned above then importing into GearedUP?

I am looking for it. Where is it? Where is the screen to find the option Export to TCX

From the Garmin Connect main page: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/

go to your activities or click here: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities

Click on the activity you want to export

Click the gear icon in the top right corner then select "Export to TCX"

I did it one at a time for each workout. It is very slow. Is there a way to connect my watch 920XT and have the files upload en masse?

Each workout or each activity? There is a difference on the Garmin site.

Upload to GearedUp or sync with Garmin? Can you provide a link to the GearedUp web site so I can get an idea of what you're trying to do?
