Can a foot pod be used as candence sensor?

The only cadence sensors I know are the footpods and HRM-Run. As it happens, I use both!
The footpod takes priority for cadence if both are connected to the watch.
I've also set the footpod for pace (a must) and distance (YMMV, but my GPS distance is consistently short vs other devices and a map)

I think OP asked if a footpod can be used as a bike cadence sensor.

The footpod will record cadence while running. For biking it doesn't work. You'll need a bike cadence sensor for that.
