I'm using my Heart Rate sensor almost 2 years now with my Garmin Edge 1000 cycling computer without an issue.
Since 2 weeks I recognized that the Edge is showing "---" instead of the rate during an activity. Sometimes it starts with a rate around 68 and this is fix for the next minutes either the activity is hard (rate should increase ;-) ). And sometimes after a while (maybee 10 minutes) the Edge shows a realistic rate (more then 120).
The Edge is connecting to the sensor every time before I start the activity. I changed the battery to a new one, without improvement. And I also put some water on the strip of the sensor.
