The Tacx Desktop app offers a demo mode allowing you to view different features prior to pairing a trainer. When the app is in demo mode you are not able to save workouts. If you are not able to save a workout, ensure that the demo mode is disabled by doing the following:
Open the Tacx Desktop app.
Click Device Manager.
Click Disconnect beneath DEMO.
Pair your trainer.
Once the Tacx Desktop app is no longer in demo mode and your trainer is fully paired, you will be able to save your completed workouts.
I started to have similar issues since 2 months and getting worse. Sometimes no issue for a week but today both my am and pm session are lost. When clicking the green arrow save button nothing happens and the app returns to start page. I tried uninstall/ reinstall but still same. The demo explanation is of no use... All very frustrating as I am losing valuable data and insights. Additionally load cannot be manually added...
A couple times I was able to just close the app and wait about a half hour and when I went back and opened the app, it offered me the option to save the previous ride but it doesn't work every time. Garmin gave me the most generic answer they possibly could so they were of no help at all. My only solution has been to give it some time and hope it doesn't delete my progress so I can save it on the next use.
