No HR Data (and therefore no Fan Control) when Garmin Device is connected to Tacx Neo Bike Plus

Hi everybody,

everytime I connect my Garmin Fenix 6s Pro to my Neo Bike Plus to run a workout, the Bike does not display HR data on the display nor does my HR data has any kind of influence when it comes to the fans which are programmed to react on my heart rate. Is this by intention or just a bug? When I'm using Zwift or MYWhoosh with the Neo Bike, the HR data will be displayed and the fans behave as expected.

Given the fact, that both devices (my Fenix and the Tacx Neo Bike) coming from the same manufacturer I thought that this would be easily possible.

Had exactly the same problem. I purchased a HRM Dual heart rate belt and connected it to the NEO Bike Plus. I still start the training from the Fenix watch but now HR data is displayed and pulse-based fan control works.

I have to correct my statement. When selecting indoor cycling as an activity, one should just enable sent heart rate (in the activity options). The Neo will then connect automatically with the watch and will display the heart rate next to the other metrics.
