Discontinue Use of the External Power Supply

Hello Garmin.

After the warning for the neo bike plus I am very excited to know, what further notice will be. And when.

Hope we will get an answer soon! And of course a new external power supply, too. Bike costs 3,5 grand. That's not funny.

Garmin has issued a mandatory compliance notice for the Tacx Neo Bike Plus due to an overheating issue that could potentially cause a fire. Here’s a summary of the steps you need to take:

Order a Replacement External Power Supply:
- Visit Garmin’s website to place an order. http://www.garmin.com/NBP_PowerSupply
- Once you receive the new power supply, update your trainer software.
- Dispose of the original power supply according to local laws and regulations.
Update the Trainer Software:
- Connect the new external power supply to the trainer and a wall outlet.
- If needed, install the Tacx Training app and pair it with your trainer:
  - Download and open the Tacx Training app from your phone or tablet’s app store.
  - Follow the app’s instructions to complete the pairing and setup process.
- Rotate the pedals if necessary and connect the trainer to the app.
- In the Tacx Training app, select your Neo Bike Plus trainer.
- Go to Firmware Update > Update.
- Wait for the update to finish, which might take a few minutes.
- Confirm that the app displays the latest trainer software version, 5.2.0 or newer.

I followed the link and placed the order for the power supply but haven‘t got any confirmation.

No email confirmation no. But a webpage confirming order had been placed.

Garmin have done brilliantly here, considering we all thought they had abandoned it. Garmin have gone way up in my estimation after sorting this out.

If I recall correctly, they wrote shipping will start at the beginning of November.
