Exactly the same issue has just happened to me. 31 months old so 7 months outside of warranty. It sounds like a common fault so I'm wondering if it's an issue with some units. Will post back what happens…

Garmin's employees are inactive neither here on the forum, nor in the specified group on Facebook. To contact Garmin use their support page.

Fastest way to get quick response is phone or chat.
When I last had a Neo 2 (not 2T) failure I had a chat session online about the problem and return shipping labels emailed to me by the end of the chat session. I boxed it up and dropped it off for UPS (prepaid by Garmin) that afternoon and had my replacement within one week.
If you email them a reply can take days in my experience, but is very unpredictable.

Unfortunately (for this case) I am based in Tokyo and as far as I know there is no chat to talk through.
have send them a mail but two days later they just said that it takes 3 weeks to deal with the case and we have not even started..
honestly this is really surprising considering tacx 2t is the most expensive machine in the market and I would expect some top notch support.. but I guess we have to learn some stuff the difficult way.
Did you get this sorted?- I gave same issue unit is about 18 months old, pretty low usage aswell.

** update ** Garmin we’re really helpful and understanding about the fault. Currently receiving a replacement.
