New unit dead within five minutes!!

After receiving the Neo 2T trainer and setting it up it lost all power five minutes after I started cycling. There were no lights on the unit and just a flashing light on the power adapter. I've tried the 60 minute reset but it appears there's not much else I can do. Not sure if this is a known problem but I see on this forum its not the first time it's happened.

I'm waiting to hear back from Garmin as to what they're planning on doing.  This unit requires a big spend so the real test now will be weather or not they can replace the unit without too much fuss. In the meantime if anyone knows of a fix for this please let me know. I'll also post full details here on what support Garmin provides.

Sounds like a faulty power adapter to me. I just had a look at mine, "Mean Well Technologies"..., at least they meant well!

I wish it was just the power adapter. The adapter light shows solid green when not plugged into the unit and then starts flashing when plugged into it. I've been told this indicates the adaptor is ok. I also understood the trainer could work without being plugged into the power which it doesn't. Yes it's a mean well adaptor that's not being allowed to do well!
