I'm experiencing many connection dropouts during my workout between Edge 1030 and Neo 2T.
Here an example where you can see how many time the signal goes to ZERO values:

This is the official Garmin answer to the email that I sent to the support:
Hi, I've just bougth the Tacx NEO 2T one week ago. It seems a great product (and I hope it :D) but I have a 2 big problem. …
(Problem persists after FW 0.0.32). I was quite busy the last couple of days, but I updated the neo2t to FW 0.0.32. as soon I read about the FW here.
I am still experiencing the drop outs. From my steady…
I have the same issue on a new Tacx Neo 2T in the year 2024 with the newest firmware!
ANT+ on an Edge 530.
My other powermeters (pedal and crank based) have no dropouts at all.
That's great thank you
If anyone is interested here's a link to the activity information that I sent to Garmin. The two units were set up identically apart from the sensor configuration & both were running the same workout
I've had a reply to acknowledge the issue & that they have also been able to replicate it in house. Hopefully the resolution will be swift.
I have your URL link sent to Garmin Taiwan company
Great Stuff
I've unpaired Edge Remote but I have the same problem, an interesting observation is that the HR band connected to laptop with ANT+ has no dropout. On the contrary Tacx NEO 2T has many dropout.
Both edge remote and tacx trainer will dropped . You must unpair the tacx trainer and pair the tacx power sensor、speed/cadence sensor
Tacx power sensor and speed/cadence sensor are paired with Edge 1030 and I have NO dropout.
HR band is paired with Laptop and Edge 1030 and I have NO dropout.
I experience dropout only versus Laptop Tacx Desktop App.
But when I use Zwift with the same configuration I have NO dropout, Zwift on Laptop receive perfect signal and in the same time Edge 1030 receive a perfect signal.
...which Firmware of the 1030?
Firmware 9.10, but the Edge has no issue in every scenario. It's the device that receive always all the metrics without never loosing the signal.
And the trainer is controlled by the laptop app not by the Edge, the Edge record only the data to keep the Garmin Training Status updated.
The unique element that experiences the dropouts is the Tacx Desktop App on the laptop. And the Tacx Desktop App only, because from the same laptop if I connect Zwift I have no issues or dropouts.
From my testing; if you don't have the neo paired as a trainer on the edge & aren't using it for trainer control then you are less likely to experience dropouts on the edge. With that setup; If a remote is paired even if it isn't connected I get lots of dropouts
For me its different, on the data collected by the Edge I have no dropouts, always its perfect. I have dropouts only on Tacx Desktop App.
