I wanted to try out Zwift virtual shifting today, so I rode Mountain 8 in Watopia on my Neo 2. When on the "Bonus Climb", the ice(?) road up to the radio tower, road feel simulation was very exaggerated, and it felt like a particularly bad rocky surface. I thought there might be something wrong with the trainer itself, so I tried physically shifting to my lowest physical gear, the one I'd be using if virtual shifting wasn't available and had used on this climb in the past, but nothing changed. Once I headed downhill the feel disappeared. At no other point in the ride, including grades nearly as big, did I feel anything like this. Road feel simulation worked normally otherwise. Next time I do the Bonus Climb I'll turn simulation off, but that will be a while.
