Can you connect the Tacx Utility app and verify the firmware is up to date?

I have found with my Neo 1 (2016) it needs to be in a place with an ambient temp > 5-6C (41F) to avoid the "no resistance at startup" syndrome.

Hello guys,

Brand new NEO 2T (1 month, 10 sessions max) and got the exact same problem... Firmware is uptodate.

Got same problem for the time last week-end after a good hour of exercise, today got after 7 min

I have noticed a minor burn smell, when the plugged in with power, there is a strange 'fan type' noise.

Is this a know issue ?

The noise is probably normal, if it goes away after initial power up. This site has a demo: https://tacxfaqx.com/knowledge-base/power-up-sound/

I find I *always* need to boot up the trainer with no power connected, cycle for up to 5 mins to warn up the device and only then plug in the power.
