Tacx genius t2020

Hi,

I have so far been using Tacx 4 program, but have recently signed up for a monthly Tacx subscription and downloaded new Tacx app on Win 10. Smooth experience so far.

Then i plugged in my ANT+ dongle, but the desktop app refuses  to find my trainer. I am using Tacx Genius t2020. 

Can someone advise how to connect the new app and the trainer? I’m getting really frustrated.

    While the developers recently added ANT+ support to the Tacx Desktop App, they have not yet implemented support for the ANT+ FE-C protocol, so until such time as that is made available, Bluetooth is the only option for connecting a Tacx Smart Trainer to TDA. That said, unfortunately the older Tacx Genius T2020, which worked with TTS is neither Bluetooth or ANT+ FE-C compatible, so in order to use TDA, both of you will need a newer Tacx Smart trainer like the Genius Smart, Flux, Neo, Neo2, or Neo2T Smart .

    I have the same problem and still searching for an answer from support. My laptop crash down. Now the problem is, I can't install the TTS4, I can't use the tacx Desktop App and I can't use Zwift. So, anyone an idea how to use a Genius T2020 ? Is this trainer now trash...

    I have the same problem. The new software will not recognize the Tacx genius T2020

    cant connect to zwift using ant+ dongle

    cant connect to my wahoo elemnt using ant+

    cant connect to the new tacx application for my computer 

    i wish there was a solution :(

    Did you ever find a solution to this or are all T2020 i-Genius now redundant?

    OK - Thank you.

    @Garmin..... Wow - so all of us who spent upwards of 600 on a premium product now have an expensive paperweight?

    I have the same problem. I cant use it. Does Garmin respond? I dont get a proper answer

  • For Genius owners, the solution is simple: keep using the TTS4.

    New applications from Tacx (TDA, TTA) are a pale shadow compared to the TTS4.
