Vivosmart 4 vs vivosmart 5 stress accuracy

I know it has been discussed before but I would like to understand which device should I trust more for stress measurement. If I go by vivosmart 4 I have a body battery score of 100 at the end of an intense work day. If I go by the vivosmart 5 I have a body battery of less than 10 and no resfull moments. Since these are polar opposites. Which one should I trust more? Thanks!

  • I would not put much faith in the Body Battery metric telling me anything usefull on any watch. But in this case the VS5 may have a "newer" method of calculation. And yes, there are lots of post on the Stess measured by the VS5. Who knows? Garmin will never tell us which one is more trustworthy....

  • I've re-charged my VS4 for a test, and same as you, BB of 100 at the end of the day. So definitely wrong. In my experience VS5 is close to my Fenix 8 estimates on stress levels and BB.

  • Thanks for experimenting! Idk with VS4 I still got stress warnings from time to time even if BB was much higher. I'm torn, if Fenix is closer to VS5 it's probably a better indicator. Still, I think the truth lies somewhere between both extremes. At least a Samsung watch doest say I'm depleted 99% of the time.
