My Vivosmart 5 is connected to RIDEWITHGPS but rides are not displaying my heart rate.
Your vivosmart 5 is capable of Broadcasting Your Heart Rate to any device capable of receiving an ANT + signal. In this instance your phone would need to be capable of receiving that signal and providing it to the RideWithGPS app.
The green arrows are an overlay called Cues. Go into the settings where you can select map options and turn off Cues.
