Wrong distance

My vivosmart 5 often gives a wrong distance. for example to day I went to a place and my watch said: 59 km instead of 18 km. ON the way back it said: 5,6 km instaed of 18 km

I've had the same with GPS on my vivosmart 5

The distance is roughly the same but on the GPS map after the activity, the route is all over the place and it shows that I stopped the activity in a different place to where I actually did.

I have the same issue on my vivosmart5 and it's quite frustrating. My distance will occasionally just jump a large amount. This morning it went straight from 0.1km to 15km on my run. Doesn't happen always and I haven't found a way to reproduce it reliably. I reported to Garmin support a while ago and they said they were aware of the issue but haven't heard if there's been any progress yet. The track shown on the map after is accurate for me.
