Vivosmart 5 hurts skin need breathable replacement band

The skin on my wrist gets damaged from the vivosmart 5 band. The silicone band is not breathable. I have to switch arms every 3 weeks to let it heal.

Does anyone know of a good leather or breathable band?

I’m going to try these non-silicone bands.

Switch over more often, say at least weekly, then there is a reduced chance of an issue/infection.

Good to have the option but at 1/3rd the price of the device itself just for a strap is criminal (well, the criminal bit is Garmin not offering one, but then at Garmin prices...no better than this).

Switching wrist every week is a good idea.

I got a different nylon strap for Vivosmart 5 from C2DJoy. It’s very breathable and easily adjustable velcro-like closure. Good for workouts.

I see now they also have straps for my old Vivosmart 4 that is sitting in drawer with broken strap.

My son had the issue with the silicone band of the vivo smart 5 too. Did you find the nylon loops were breathable and better?

Yes the vivosmart 5 nylon strap is great. No skin irritation.

Also found a cheap vivosmart 4. Wear that a lot and don’t have any skin issues. The 4 is lighter and smaller thickness. Never gets in the way.
