Morning routine bug since 2.93

When I wake I hit the sun icon and then the tick just like I have for a long time. Since 2.93 though it will pop up again within the next hour or so and go through the morning routine again.

Anyone else had this?

    I thought it was fixed, but it's not. I still sometimes get the -127 temperature and the morning routine shows again later in the day.

    I also found that once it is showing the morning routine there is no way out of it. Pressing the button just causes the routine to start over again so you just have to wait until it's finished displaying before you can do anything else.

    The -127C temperature seems to show if I look at the morning report before opening the app on my phone. If I look at the morning report after I already looked at the app and synced then the correct temperature is shown.

    Same issue with my wife's device - we have same model and time of purchase.

    It appears to be random how many hours after first report the second report appears. Today it was around 11/12 am and first report when we woke around 9:30 am.

    Some of the reports have the -127 degrees error.

    I wonder if we will see another update for the Vivosmart 5, or if Garmin will concentrate on the more expensive watches. The last one has been a mini-update and over 2 months ago.

    I sadly don't have high hopes for this bug to be fixed, which is so disappointing as the watch was great before this bug appeared.

    I got a firmware update 3.02 a few days ago, and since then I have never got any morning report or been asked the "end sleep?" Question. So it looks like they have fixed it by completely disabling the morning report Slight smile

    I did try turning it off and on again from the watch settings but that didn't make a difference, still no report today.

    It looks like this has been fixed now in the 3.02 update. But I had to do a factory reset of my VS5 to be able to get the morning report to show at all after the update.

    As Adam mentioned, the software version 3.02 was released to resolve this report. Please update your watch at your earliest convenience. If you experience an issue with the Morning Report after installing 3.02 please start a new thread. Thank you!
