Vivosmart 5 Recommended Charging Current?

Would some technically savvy person please convey to me what is the maximum charging current for the vivosmart 5? I am asking because my new device is charging incredibly fast while using a 3.1A wall charger. I am concerned that too fast a charging rate could possibly affect the battery lifespan / performance. It was at 9% battery charge, and a few minutes later, the device is up to 48%.

I assume that like most modern battery driven devices, the VS5 only draw as much power it can use (or max what the source has as output). This said, I do not know the max. I am currently recharging my VS5 with a 1A output. In 25 minutes it has gone from 22% to 63%.
