Getting old voicemail notifications randomly

Hi--

I upgraded from a vivosmart 4 to vivosmart 5 a few weeks ago and am having an issue where I get random notifications for voicemails from several days/weeks ago.

In Garmin Connect, I've got notifications on, but only for calls and texts (both for general use and during an activity).

I've disconnected, removed, and reconnected to the vs5 on my iphone 8, but no change in behavior.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any recommendations on how to remedy it?

If it helps to troubleshoot, I also notice that I get frequent notifications on my VS5 that my phone got disconnected (i.e. the bluetooth got disconnected) and then reconnected. This happens even when my phone is in my back pocket and my VS5 is on my wrist. I don't recall getting these notifications on my VS4 (either because the VS4 didn't support such notifications or because it had a better bluetooth antenna, or because maybe my VS5's bluetooth is defective).
