no low battery warning

It looks like there is no low battery warning on vivosmart5. I didn't receive the low battery notification even it has dropped to 4%. Is this by design?

I was warned low battery this morning, and the battery percentage is 10%. It only notify once, so maybe I didn't notice it previously.
