Your Garmin vívoactive 5 automatically syncs time via your paired phone or GPS, but to manually sync or force an update, press the menu button, go to System > Time > Time Sync, and wait for it to connect to your phone or satellites; if needed, you can also set the time source to Manual under Clocks > Time > Time Source.
Maybe check that last option?
I would recommend if your watch is not automatically updating the time to go ahead and unpair/repair the device in the Connect app/Bluetooth settings. Here is a helpful article on how to do this.
You can also step outside and once you have a clear view of the sky you can select an outdoor activity and acquire GPS. Both options should correct the time, if not I would recommend double checking the software on the device is up to date.
