Battery Drain Problem

Last night I had the same problem. For me, though, it was the last 30%. Yesterday update maybe??

Happened to me the other day as well. Mine went from around 80% to completely drained over night. 

I had the same issue with my vivoactive 5 and contacted Garmin for a replacement. Went from working perfectly to battery lastling 12 hours only..

After this I charged the watch to 100% and used it normally. This morning I reached 9 complete days with 9% left. I think it may be OK now. The update?

Actually it's kinda weird because i did charged after drain and used for 7-8 days without a problem. i guess there is a software problem but it does it again i will call Garmin support

I have the same issue, My new Vivoactive 5 was doing ok during the first month (~10% per 24h) and last week, after a recent update, it's been ~20% per night.
It's definitely a SW issue.

My battery also started suddenly draining quickly in the last few days.  It is losing almost 50% overnight when it used to last 11 days.  I chose Garmin for its longer battery life.  Please help!

I guess nobody cares, we got neither answers nor fix from Garnin.

At least users in EU have an easy way out with the 2 year warranty from the seller.

Have you updated to the latest software yet? I had very bad battery drain since an update in March or April. It went from 12 days on a charge to 2 to 3 days. And since I’ve updated last Friday the battery life is suddenly really good. It’s still on 81%/ 10 days left today (Monday at noon) and I had charged it to 100 after updating on Friday. 

I did run activities and I wear it 24/7 except when showering. So it’s not that I never use it :-)
