Vivoactive 4s sensor/WHR/BMX all 0.0 with update 8.30 and beta update 8.50

i know this was an old problem but anyone find a work around or fix. have done all the normal procedures and even a factory reset. Just tried to see if beta 8.50 would work and it didn't. Phone is only working when plugged into a charger. As soon as phone is removed it turns off. related to the sensor software getting wiped somehow?

    - local support said that they cannot help me as they are not sending firmware fines as well as my watch is out out warranty. So basically NO HELP provided. And this case is purely Garmin's mistake that we all should get help with

    Got a vivoactive 4, BT & GPS ver shows 0.00 and doesnt work.Is there a firmware version that can solve this or is the watch a throw away?

    I just updated my wife's Vivoactive 4s and it "corrupted" the sensor software. We called Garmin support and after a 20 minute long conversation involving troubleshooting, we were asked to look at the sensor software version. It was 0.00..., which the support person quickly said "The software for your heart rate sensor is corrupted, you're watch is out of date and we don't service it. You'll need to purchase a new watch and we will give you 25% off MSRP for a new one." Ummm, there's no fix? I've had the watch for 23 months and now it's a paper weight. Finding that the update also causes the GPS to continuously search for a signal, which in turn kills the battery in about 6 hours. Does anyone have a way to replace the sensor software?
