*Update*: After suffering from this Transfer Failed/CPE update failure/expired for months, I finally resorted to enrolling in the Beta Software Program, which I noticed mention here. This instantly solved the above problem, introduced by software update 7.20 as it was replaced with Beta 7.40 after enrollment
Been using Beta 7.40 successfully for weeks. Enabled updating my GPS/CPE file over Wi-Fi, once more. (Noticed Beta 7.70 was installed the other night. Hoping this also runs as smoothly as 7.40 testing.)
Whilst on 7.20 previously, it was a complete nuisance having to fire up my laptop and sync my watch with Garmin Express, before heading out for a run. Even more infuriating that Garmin have been in denial about the 7.20 version. Thus, making Garmin users jump through hoops with numerous, fruitless resets etc. Ultimately having to limp on with the corrupted, and time consuming (having to deploy workarounds), 7.20 update.
