Hi my vivoactive has become redundant. Every time I go for a run it turns off, or if I go to pay it switches off. It also goes dead at 50% charged. Has anyone any ideas? Other times the buttons just freeze.

If you have tried to reset, upgrade/down firmware and problem still persists, it sounds like a HW issue to me.

Hello, the same thing started happening to me. Since 6.90 update, sometimes the watch started to turn off—especially during wi-fi sync. But recently it turns off each time I start any activity, and recently also when it gets any notification from the phone. Also now the touch screen stopped working - it doesn't work at all. I can't even do a hard reset in the settings because of it. And it all happens even if the watch is charged 100%. Checked with Garmin express and it is up to date. Garmin express shows that it is 6.90.
What should I do with it? It became redundant.
Should I send it for guarantee, or is there an easier way?

I am glad I am not alone. I really started to think that my watch has broken. I started observing this behavior few weeks ago. The watch just randomly turns off during the day and night, or when initiating certain things like trying to pay with it, establishing wifi connection. I lost so many days of proper sleep and steps tracking because of that. Also can't use certain functionalities like paying with it. I tried resetting to factory settings but it didn't work. Garmin Express is showing up to date version 6.90. Looks to be software issue?
