Garmin Vivoactive 4.
I do long distance cycling. When I stop for a break, pause my activity.. It automatically stops the pause in 10-15 minutes and records the activity?
That's exactly what I do not need!!!
Help please?
Thanks Cassie

How Long Can My Activity Stay Paused For?
The amount of time an activity will remain paused will vary by watch model. To conserve battery power, after a certain amount of time your watch will automatically save your activity. Generally, you will receive a vibration or alert from your watch when it auto saves the activity.
You cannot adjust the amount of time you can keep your activity paused before it auto saves, nor can this function be disabled.
Thank you. How sad that Garmin can not just add a simple function like this
Some watches, such as the epix, fenix, forerunner, and instinct, have a Resume Later function, which is designed for extended pauses. Unfortunately, none of the vivo series watches have this.
Some discission on this topic here: Can we have "Resume Later" functionality on our watch?
I've been using the Cycling App Professional for over a year. It has a pause function which does not turn itself off.
It is also freely configurable and is constantly being further developed.
