rapid battery drain (<4 hours) after latest update

I did an update on my garmin vivoactive 4s 3 days ago. Since then, my battery only lasts 4 hours at the most. I have reset my watch three times. I have turned off my backlight entirely. My gps is not on. My pulse ox is not on. My watch is about 2.5 years old and previously the battery would last about 4 days. I am based in New Zealand. With this little battery life I would need to charge the watch multiple times a day which is not practical, it is therefore useless to me at the moment. Anyone else having similar problems? I'm unsure what else to try.

I am having similar issue, since 3 days, my battery only last ~2hours. I am based in Slovakia and my watch is only 1 year old. I tried reset, update everything with Garmin Express through computer, nothing helps. I had to switch to old Samsung watch, which I am very unhappy about. I would also like to get advice on what to do.

Here we go again.
Another update to make things worse. I wish they would just leave it alone instead of compounding the problems we already have.

I just replied over here, but I'm experiencing the exact same issue as of a few days ago. If this was simply an old battery starting to fail, I would not have expected things to go from absolutely fine to catastrophically bad so suddenly. forums.garmin.com/.../vivoactive-4s-battery-drain-in-90-minutes
