Vivoactive 4 when set to bike shows the speed but not the distance

When I set my watch to Bike. I shows waiting for GPS and does connect. but during the ride I see speed but no distance is shown. When I sync with Phone it does store the time and the speed but no miles.

Have you checked if there are any sensors connected? Maybe it mistakes some headphones for cadence sensors or something like that.

Thank you for the response. I did validate that no sensors are connected. I reset my configuration and will be trying it again today.

after restoring factory settings and restarting the distance now is working.
