Touch Screen Sensitivity Software Update 6.80

This has been resolved with the software update to 6.80. If you are experiencing issues after installing the 6.80 update, please start a new thread.

Hi Kevin. Re: The above. My comments were about your alleged "resolution".

As I'd said earlier in the thread you closed. I actually found the LESS sensitive screen a lot better as it was far less susceptible to inadvertent operation & consequential, unnecessary battery drain.

You'll never please everyone though. Maybe an improvement could be to have adjustable sensitivity/number of taps to activate screen. Similar to the brightness option.

I also preferred the less sensitive touch screen, as it was less prone to accidental touches.

But I think this would have been resolved if double tap to wake would have been implemented.

I agree. It wakes up a bit too easily during the night now. I preferred the less sensitive touch screen.

Can we get an update that allows the touch screen to work when it's wet. The water drops often change the screen.

When i'm in the pool or lake, I can't do any swipes unless I dry it off or at least remove most of the water.

I doubt that. It is an issue with wet touch screens in general, and can probably not be fixed by software.
