Every time I select 'set-up a wifi network' in Garmin Connect and select 'add network' my Vivoactive 4 switches off. So I can't add Spotify. I have already completed a data reset and it didn't resolve the issue.
SW Version: 6.50
Wi-Fi Version: 2.60

If you are experiencing problems with your vivoactive 4 or vivoactive 4S related to the symptoms in this thread, such as screen failures, vibration failures, inability to charge, button failures, we will…
To everyone on this forum suffering from the VA4 Wi-Fi/Pulse Ox etc issues.
I own a VA4 (and a VA3 and in fact a very old VA1). Wifi doesn't work and Pulse Ox shuts down the watch.
Over the last month…
All,
If you are experiencing this issue, please respond with the following:
The watch is only 14 months old. Very disappointed if that is the case. All of my other Garmin products have been great.
Strange too how so many other people are getting this issue since software updates…
Quite interesting thing - my watch get few updates last week (Wednesday - Thursday) and I was charging it last time on Thursday (1st Dec) or Friday (2nd Dec) morning. Today (5th Dec) evening had still 20 percent!
During that time had 3 walking activities on 1st, 1 activity on 2nd and 2 on 3rd Dec. My watch didn't turn off during that time and was working at least 3,5 days on 80% of the battery what is really great - event when it was new, 3 days it was max! I was usually charging it every second day or even every day.
Not sure what happen and what exactly was updated...but maybe there is hope?
My soft is 7.80, GPS 6.00, ANT/BLE/BT 8.02, WIFI 2.60, TSC 2.05, sensor 20.04, WHR 5.00.05, Connect IQ 5, BMX 5.0.5, Sec. BMX 0.8.0, API 3.3.6
On the other hand - anyone noticed similar problems with other garmins watches or it's only vivoactive?
Im sitting on my erg at 5.30am having to charge my watch which turns off at 70%. Im so angry, this is not a cheap watch i already replaced after the same issue happebed just over 2yrs ago! You cant just take it somewhere to repair it. After an update (which i cant roll back) i have to charge daily. Surely this is not good for the battery and im now outside my warranty. Come on Garmin, sort it out, this isnt good enough. Either that or sell your watcges at a cheaper price if youre not going to get longevity out of these devices.
It seems to me that after 2+ years battery became weaker. It started to happen 3-4 months ago when the clock would turn of sometimes, but at the level of battery of 20%, for example - 10 days ago, it was turning off at 80%.
Recently I deactivated oxygen sensor and automatic practice detection, so it can work now even for 3 days, but it turns off when capacity of the battery shows about 20%. I believe in few months it will start to turn off again at higher battery percentages.
I talked with local service for Garmin - he said that the battery is not replaceable. So, I asked - you buy something 2 yeas ago for 300 + euro, it stop to work in 2-3 years and there is nothing I can do. He said: "I shouldn't tell you this, but yes - its like that".
So guys - nobody cant help us.
Man, Garmin made expensive product whose battery cant be officially replaced, so it becomes partially usable after 2+ years, The solution is to replace batery by myself - will it stay water proof - i use it for swim ? Or the solution is to go with new garmin watch. No deal for me.
