6.10 issue - countdown within workouts no longer working

Since the 6.10 update I'm no longer getting a vibration countdowns within workouts - it used to countdown the last 5 seconds before a change, whereas now it just vibrates at the change within the workout. The countdown was REALLY helpful - please can I get it back?!

yeah, it's happened during upgrade to 6 Beta and me and a few other people asked for vibrations to return but probably it's not enough.
It's very easy to miss interval during workout now especially if you reach your steps or intensity minutes goal at the same time and your screen has these instead of workout data...

I think they called it "Improved workout duration vibrations". It would be easy to add control to vibrations but I guess they just decided to minimize amount of vibrations to extend battery life.

Maybe Garmin-AmberD can spot us and add our votes for having this feature back, I'm sure that more people can join that request too.

I second this. Main reason I went back to Garmin from a Fitbit was because of the better interval warning on the Garmin. Please fix this.

I echo everyone else's disappointment. This new setting makes my workouts more difficult. What were they thinking?

It looks like an overreaction to another thread of people who wanted to shut it off.

Some of us love it! Just add an on/off setting for it, please! Bring it back!

I too would like this back. How can they say "improved workout duration vibrations" when that is completely subjective?

I'm not that sure it would help, the thread you've pointed to is quite old, wasn't very active until recently, I can't see any support people answering and it's not about the watch but about functionality of Garmin Connect. As well we can try to use their standard form for suggestions: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/

Anyway this thread is active enough to be spotted, I hope so let's see how it goes and whenever we get some answers during the working week.
