After recent sensor update indoor walking is not estimating distance accurately. A 4km walk today was logged as 0.7km. There was no option to calibrate at the end of the walk.

Cadence was normal whenever I checked, and the step count total for the day is in line with what I would expect for my overall distance. However, checking the graphs in the connect app I can see that it is basically showing zero speed for 75% of the walk, with only a few spikes up to normal pace levels (which probably matches the distance covered).
No, nothing from Garmin, and I don't have a workaround for you I'm afraid. I have also noticed if i walk outside with GPS off then it periodically auto-stops then auto-starts even when I have not stopped walking (I have auto pause turned on) which also suggests an issue with walk/cadence tracking has appeared in the latest update (2.60 for me).

Hi, did you resolve this issue? I have exactly the same one, over 6000 steps and only 0,46km. Thanks.
Hello! Have you also recorded outdoor walks using GPS? When walking with GPS turned off, speed, distance, and cadence are calculated using the accelerometer in the device which is self-calibrating. Usually after a few outdoor walks with GPS it should help the accuracy of the indoor walking profile.
