I plan to listen to music from my phone while I take bike rides, and I'd like to use the gps from my phone as well to save battery life on my Vivoactive 4s. Is this possible? If so where is the setting to change it?
Thanks

Hello! The Vivoactive 4 does not have the capability to use connected GPS through a phone. Here is an article that lists which devices can use connected GPS: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=181lYysPu89MXf3hbi6MF6
Also, here is an article that talks about the different ways to maximize the battery life on a Vivoactive 4.
Thank you for the response. I'm curious if I were to disable the gps tracking from the watch, could I use an app like myfitnesspal to track my gps through the phone, and only track my heart rate and time of exercise through the watch?
Wow. That article essentially says to turn everything useful off to save battery. No notifications (BT off, no step tracking, no HR, no PulseOx. You might as well leave it on the nightstand unless you’re exercising.
Yeah i dont know why they mebtion all of that, im onky using 15% battery per day with everything on except pulse ox
