I did a live track today walking 5 miles. When sharing my link the location was 12 miles from where I was. Still trying to figure this out but GPS is way off.

Not impacting everyone, but it is a system-wide issue impacting multiple device types, not only Garmin devices.
And how finaly you solved the issue? I experienced right now very big drift with my va4, ( I was using it since Jan 20, without troubles, however since 2 days ago it is disaster) thanx for help
I'm having the same problem. There are already two threads on reddit about this problem, with dozens of people (with different models) complaining about the same problem.

In my case, the whole route is shifted about 200 meters to the east. I ran the exact same route yesterda and the GPS track is fine
I am having the same problem. Did anyone figure out how to update the files through the phone app?
Same problem. Tried removing the file. Did a "hard reset". Tried time sync with GPS. Synced with Garmin Express (Windows). Nothing works for my case.
Same problem here. My runs are tracking completely off course. Tried plugging into PC and updating but CPE still says expired.
Same here. GPS worked until recently, but now the CPE is expired, and connecting to Garmin Express doesn't fix it. I notice that many Garmin owners with different types of watches on Strava are logging activities with big location offsets.
same here, connected to PC and synched but CPE still showing expired
Worked fine for me after a firmware update, now it's broken again, presumably due to another update. Currently on SW v5.10 and GPS v4.80 and it is broken again
It does not seem to be related to a firmware this time. It seems to affect lots of different Garmin models, and even some none Garmin brands. Maybe related to Sony chipsets.
