Garmin has just released their new sleep widget to the Fenix 6 lineup. Is the any chance that this will be added to the Vivoactive 4? Coming from a Fitbit Versa 2, if feel the sleep analytics isn’t up to par.

First off thats correct, but they introduced way more to the sleep analytics with the widget, like a score and rating for your sleep quality. Further more the sleep data is processed on the watch itself…
It could also be that some of the advanced firstbeat stuff is needed, which is more than just "buy a new watch". I wouldn't be surprised if it was added to the fr945, as it's got the same firstbeat…
Also fair points. Interestingly I also have the Samsung Active 2. In my experience I have found the stats to be comparable but that may be just me. It seems to me that it's all about what's important to…

There is at least a slight chance, that we could see the widget on the VA4. Garmin aquired First Beat Analytics (https://newsroom.garmin.com/newsroom/press-release-details/2020/Garmin-acquires-Firstbeat-Analytics-a-leading-provider-of-physiological-analytics-for-health-fitness-and-performance/default.aspx). Therefore it could be, that Garmin is going to rollout even more First Beat Features on various devices. But i wouldn't bet on it.
I already talked to US Garmin Support, they have no plans to update the Vivo active 4 range with new features...
Edit: Sorry, that was for VA3... I took a second look and the email said that the customer representative in the US would send a feature request to the appropriate department regarding a sleep widget for the VA4 line.
I just bought the VA4 a week ago, thinking it was a high end device without the running focus. The price is almost double of a Fitbit Versa 2 that I came from. Don’t think sleep analytics is to much to ask.
Guess I should have stayed with Fitbit :(
I agree that it would be good to see the sleep analytics on the watch. But they are available on the app and on the web.
Agreed. But not surprising. This is a pretty common marketing strategy IMO.
