BETA vivoactive 4 series 4.53 is available

Notes:

We are looking specifically for feedback on your battery life experience after installing this beta.
Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.

Changes made from version 4.50 to 4.53:

Increased version number to allow testing with new Bluetooth firmware

Installation Instructions

Connect your vivoactive 4 to your computer using the USB cable.
Download and unzip vivoactive4_453Beta.zip. Place the GUPDATE.GCD file into the \GARMIN directory of the device.
From the RemoteSW folder in the unzipped download, copy the GUP3227.GCD into the \GARMIN\RemoteSW folder on your device.
Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the watch, and wait for the update to finish.
If you would like to revert to the last public release software, place the GUPDATE-450.GCD file in the \GARMIN folder. Rename GUPDATE-450.GCD to GUPDATE.GCD before disconnecting your device. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.
To downgrade your peripheral software, place the GUP3227-430.GCD from the RemoteSW\Downgrades folder into your device's \GARMIN\RemoteSW folder.

Estoy completamente de acuerdo. El gasto de autonomía es equilibrado hasta llegar al 50%, una vez superado ese 50%, el consumo se dispara exponencialmente

Thanks for the information, but, this beta is only for BT problems, it has nothing else?

This is shame Team Garmin, only BT problems? When You fix problems with GPS accuracy knew from long time, steps counting and other major problems??????????

Will this Beta work with the Legacy Saga series, or only the generic Vivoactive 4?

I think, Garmin has the same problem as every company - surprise, it's Corona.

Needed to charge the second time with this update. It seems even worse regarding the battery life. If battery was the only part which was maintained in this update, then keep 4.50 in my opinion. If Garmin want's any logs or something similar then get in touch with us.

It seems like Garmin isn't taking the people serious or is willing to work with the consumers. You can get an even better product if companies start to cooperate and work with motivated customers who want to help.

In the first 24 hours using the standard watchface without a second display, it only used 8%! very well, thanks for the improvement
