Can't add an emergency contact

Get "An error has occurred" message when I try to add an emergency contact in Connect IOS. I have an iPhone 11 and a new Vivoactive 4S. I tried both with and without the country code and plus sign. I tried "choose phone contacts" and "create contact" but I get the error message every time.

Hi,

I am using IOS and an iPhone X - same problems... but with a Venu Watch.... already have deleted and installed software/connections again/new suggested by the Garmin support, but still no contacts to be added.... read my topic in the Venu Forum, perhaps we'll get an answer...

But I think it's a problem with our IOS

Just got my vivo 4s yesterday, I'm having same issue my contacts are added however saying country code needs to be added to front of number with the plus sign. In my contacts on Samsung 9S I've done this however on Vivo contacts saying still not added. Pretty frustrated.
