Just updated to SW 3.80 recently. Now I notice that my Vivoactive 4 is leaking battery like crazy, like 30% per day without doing any activity compare to 10-15% per day previously.
Anyone experiencing this issue with SW 3.80?

Yes, I have noticed an increase in battery drain rate with 3.80. The 3.80 "upgrade" happened Saturday around 5PM. I have not changed anything else. Watch face is Quattro. Pulse Ox is only on…
The same. I noted that my battery is draining a lot faster than normal. It went from 100% battery to 47% within 24 hours. I didn't do any activity. whereas before the update I was able to go 3-4 days with…
today, 28hr passed from last charge: 91% battery.
I have fiddled around quite much as i was setting a new clock face. 15min yoga activity, and a lot of walking around
I have to say, with this projection, and a 3 or 4 activities recording, i will end up again to 5 full days of battery life.
same here. but was not worse in fw3.6, at least for me.
if i sit down after dinner, and watch TV, the watch interpret it as i am sleeping. even deep sleep!
I am not expecting miracles from this watch. in my opinion is good as it get like this.
i think it estimates the sleeping time, comparing HR variation over time.
i am a pretty active guy. once i sit down and rest, my HR variation slows down, so the watch interpret those as sleeping time, in the night time, around 10.30. I think is quite acceptable.
it cannot make miracles. it has sensors for movements, for HR, and an algorithm that interprets those data, and of course is an algorithm that covers most of population to which is dedicated, assuming some statistical variation of parameters. maybe there is even a bit of self learning, but still doesn't have a web cam looking at me, all day long, like a big brother.
again, i think it does its job, as expected, at least for me
The battery drain is horrible with the new SW version. For me (with a new Venu) it happens every time after charging. It even drained from 100 to 10% within 3 hours, multiple times. Only a reboot helps stop the drain. It only started after updating to 3.80. Hope anyone from Garmin is actually reading these comments.
I bought my Vivoactive 4 instead of an Apple Watch because I wanted a battery that lasted longer than a day. Now, 3.80 has made the Garmin more like the Apple Watch with respect to battery life. Should I celebrate Boxing Day by returning the Garmin to the store? Please Garmin, acknowledge the problem and let your customers know whether you will be addressing it or not.
thanks, it seemed to work for me. but had to do it twice.
I tried turning it off and back on. Twice. Battery still is draining abnormally quickly.
