Battery Life Issues

Just got a new Vivoactive 4 and was expecting a much better battery life, so far I'm running into a 48hr battery life. Charged my watch fully last night unplugged it before bed and woke up to a watch that had been sitting (did not sleep with it) doing nothing and already drained 20%.

Very disappointing this is exactly one of the reason I switched, I wanted to worry less about charging my watch every day or two. Is this just a total miss for Garmin or did I just get a lemon?

  • Same as me, my battery life is only around 48 hours. I bought my VA4s 2 months ago and I ran into this problem once but I just factory reset, delete all the app and update the latest firmware which then ran normally for a month. However, now I am getting the same problem even though it's updated and has no app. charged my watch 2 days ago around 7 pm and wear it while sleeping then wear it yesterday the whole day and now 9 am it's around 26%. I predict that the battery will drain down to 0% around the same time it did two days ago (7 pm). Here are my settings: backlight at 30%, gesture on (low sensitivity), low vibration, pulse ox only while sleeping only, activity tracking off, heart rate monitor on, Bluetooth off, default clock face. Is there any way I can fix this? I do not want to charge my watch every two days.
