I’m really disappointed with my VA3 bought last November. During this period the performances decreased to almost the point of being unusable:
- Stairs count: completely wrong since june. The VA3 counts stairs also when I climbed no stairs at all.
- Altimeter: during an indoor activity in the gym the VA3 reports a reduction of altitude of about 30-50m. During an outdoor walk with GPS the altitude is always wrong of 100-150m more. Last week the device reported a reduction of altitude when I was climbing a mount!!
- HR monitor during activity: during the activity (also a simple walk not just during an high intensity wod with lot of wrist movement) the HR stops at a value of about 99 and the only way to unlock it is to pause a few seconds and then restart.
- Battery charge since the first day: to be sure to have 7 days of charge I have to perform a tricky cicle. I have to first charge up to 100% the battery, then unplug the power source and wait few minutes during which battery charge drops to 98%, then plug again the VA to the USB cable charge to 100% and leave it plugged in charge for 1 hour more.
Of course I performed several reset and resores with no improvements!!!
I I demand a full refund from Garmin!!
