Since my watch has the 16.28 update, my swim activities have been totally incorrect.
eg. Distance, time, calories, pool length, pace.
When will the next update be to correct these issues?

I just spoke to Garmin Support and they are “investigating”. Rep I spoke with said it's probably not a big issue "since there aren't 20,000 people complaining about it" and that I should take people on…
That would be great. I'm pretty disappointed. Had the watch replaced, after real hassle. New watch did the software update to latest version and my swim today was all over the place. Not ideal for a £400…
I spoke to the garmin support and they will investigate the problem. I'll let you know when I have more informations.
This is exactly what happened to me when I raised the issue - my concerns got dismissed despite there already being another ticket with the EXACT same issue that I was reporting. Garmin has known about this issue for over a week and done absolutely nothing but dismiss claims which IMO is even more egregious than the issue itself. Had Garmin taken responsibly, owned their mistake and validated my concerns I would feel a lot better about this situation. Now I’m about to send back my watch and get an alternative whose customer service actually cares.
I completely agree. The fact we are not being listened to is as frustrating as the issue itself. I raised this when the software was in beta back in January. Garmin being greedy, taking our money with no support.
Thank you to Garmin support for your responses to my emails and for taking the time to assist me over the phone regarding my faulty watch. I truly appreciate the helpful support I received from all the staff I dealt with.

I'm not a swimmer, but I have owned the Garmin Venue $ since it first shipped. The intensity minutes tracking has been erradic since day 1. When I run it tracks miles well, but when I ran 3 miles a couple days ago it only registered 3 intensity minutes, then I went for a walk yesterday and it recorded 24 intesnity minutes. I have seen this type of up and down recording since day 1. I know this is a thread about swimming on the Venue 4, but just chiming in on issue with the Venue 4. BTW, this is my first every product post, I have never felt the need to before but since the readings have been off it would appear there are problems with the Venue 4.
February 17, my venu 4 got a software update to 16.28. Since then my watch did not record the pool distance. It took me several days to convince Garmin support that it wasn't my swim technique. Eventually, Garmin support agreed to send me a new watch under the warranty. I got a new watch today. I went for my swim and it was perfect. Everything worked. However, my watch started a new update NOW to 16.28. I am dreading what's going to happen in my next swim. will keep you posted.
Exactly what happened to me. I'm afraid to say after the 16.28 it was all over the place again. And still Garmin support didn't listen to me. I have now returned the watch.
