Version 15.16 crashed while running outdoors; the crash log is attached.

Garmin's Venu4 product likely hasn't undergone rigorous testing. I've used Garmin products for over nine years and experienced two instances where my outdoor running watch crashed and wouldn't turn on. Both happened with my Garmin Venu4.

This time, the watch crashed and wouldn't turn on, even though the outdoor temperature was above 12°C. The system version is the latest, 15.16. I already sent a debug file package after the previous crash, but haven't received a response.

  • I've deleted the negative comments, but Garmin's engineers did disappoint me.


  • what you're writing is almost unbelievable to me. That Garmin wouldn't be able to resolve the software problem on their own, and that their software engineers are completely useless. If it really is the case that Garmin doesn't employ competent software engineers, I will immediately quit Garmin and switch back to Fitbit or to Google Fitbit.

Das Garmin nicht in der Lage wäre das Software Problem selbstständig zu Lösen und das deren Software  Ingenieure völlig nutzlos sind.Sollte das tatsächlich der Fall sein das Garmin keine ordentlichen Software Ingenieure einsetzt, kündige ich sofort mit Garmin und kehre zu fitbit bzw zu googelfitbit zurück.

    The venu4's Bluetooth is indeed having issues. Please fix it promptly. The crash log from October 19th indicates the watch crashed due to a Bluetooth problem.

  • The watch stopped working again.This is the log file. Please resolve it as soon as possible. I was just listening to music while running outdoors.
