The Venu 4 seems to auto dim in low light unlike the Venu 3

It looks like when running/walking in the dark the Venu 4 seems much dimmer. The Venu 3 did not do this. With the various watchfaces the items like floors climbed in a smaller circle along with the othe items are hard to see. Please let us keep it bright in low light and adjust for full light. Also, I too have issues with the brightness being too dim in low light. It’s always just fine in bright light. I always keep the brightness level set to max because of this, which is a shame because it doesn’t need to be that bright other times and chews up a lot of extra battery.

  • Hallo TheHar

I can also observe the behavior of the Venu 4 that you described and find it disadvantageous.
It would be nice if one could generally turn off the dimming and only enable it when needed, depending on the display design.

It bothers me that in dark rooms I do not immediately have the bright display to read the time better.
With my Venu 3, this dimming behavior does not occur, and that is a good thing.

I hope that in one of the next firmware updates, this dimming behavior can be turned off. Thank you.
