After using the golf app for this watch for more than a year I am giving up. It is unreliable and causes frustration on the golf course. It auto records a few shots, but it misses most.

I am having the same problem as 2844868. And yes, I know how to wear and use the watch. Started having the problem with my Venu 2+ so bought a Venu 3 a few months ago and it has never been right. This…
Exactly, I'm not sending them a video because Garmin can't grasp that dozens of people with the exact same issue might be a software issue on their end. Just send the fix or revert it to a previous version…
Are you wearing it on your leading wrist? I haven't had any issues with it missing shots, unless I'm hitting a very soft wedge.
Yes I wear it on my leading wrist.

Yes to 1,2,4. I will have to check if it the scoring option is specifically chosen every time I start a new round. I do enter my score after each hole and can see my scores per hole on the app after I saved a round. I use the default watch face which came pre installed with the watch.
You aren't wearing it super loose are you? Like I said, it only skips putts and if I'm chipping onto the green. Tee shots and fairway shots are rarely missed.
I never normally have this issue but playing today the watch only recorded one shot taken so the shots map on the app is empty except one hole. I also noticed it was no longer showing the distance of my shots taken whilst playing,
I had exactly the same issue yesterday after upgrading to 14.15. I played 9 hole and only at 9th hole came to normal. From 1st to 8th was disastrous, couldn’t focus on may game
I am having the same issue, worked very reliably before the update. Love the new golf features, but auto-shot appears very intermittent.
This happened to me last Saturday (was working fine the week before). I reset the watch, it worked for the front 9, didn’t work for the back 9.
