Garmin has definitely lost it's mind with Venu 3

This is basically a rant. Garmin launched Vivoactive 6 yesterday, at 299$ and the Venu 3 is less than 2 years old now.

Having said that, the Vivoactive 6 has more features than Venu 3, despite being 150$ less. This looks like a slap on the face of every Venu 3 user.

For many months we have been requesting Garmin to add Courses feature to Venu 3 and now Vivoactive 6 has Courses and Pace Pro feature? WTH IS GARMIN DOING BY PLAYING WIHT VENU 3 USERS??

If Venu 3 will get all those features in the upcoming update, it could be even, if not, this might probably be my last Garmin watch.

Been a Garmin user since 2017 and maybe its time to switch. 450$ is not small money and Garmin should realize that. Garmin seems to lure many people by introducing features to its new Vivoactive 6 watch, but doing that by ignoring the more premium Venu 3 is outright stupidity.

I'm Garmin user (Venu 3) since 1 year, comming from Polar. The software support at Polar was bad & I thought Garmin is better. Yeah.. Venu 3 proofed me wrong with at least no major update and no additional features. In my opinion, hardware is good enough to get new features. Sadly, the will use all the new stuff in the Venu 4 and no update for the Venu 3. Next watch will be no Garmin, for sure!

I feel the same. Garmin is good with only FR series or above, anything below that is pure JUNK. People should rally at Garmin like how their recent Connect+ was voiced negatively. They are losing as a company and I hate to see that.

Garmin should bring Training readiness and new vivocactive features to Venu 3

Courses and Pace Pro are added to Vivoactive 6, training readiness could be added too, but not giving features to a 449$ watch, but giving to a 299$ watch is abusrd. The problem is, I don't know why no one is listening to customer feedback.

Garmin-Zac Garmin-Tracy Can you guys do something to forward the requests of many Venu 3 users to the development team. I have been requesting this since Firmware 11 or even earlier.

I am thinking the same. Garmin is just being a total stupid company. I mentioned this before, but I have successfully convinced 4 of my friends to never buy the Venu or Vivoactive series or even skip Garmin. 3 of them got the Galaxy Watch and one Pixel Watch. If this is how Garmin is going to treat their people, I think its better to just not buy. Unfortunately my watch is just 1.5 years old and I have to use this for some more time.

Garmin intentionally limits features on its watches. No Garmin watch has all features. In that way, they stimulate sales of new watches.

Yeah no company does that and moreover it was ok to do that earlier because Vivoactive was cheaper than FR series, but Venu 3 is priced identically to FR 265, in that case they need to up the software support too, not just the price.
